Super golden tones and a feel of the vastness of this countryside Kate.

As a world traveler I have been asked a thousand times of just why it has to be South Dakota where my hat hangs. How can one explain the farmland as a vast ocean of space where one can dream. My most treasured original of the thousands that my hands created was titled the, "Scarlet Sails", or the sails of dreams, but without a ship to hold them. Kind of crazy, I will soon have open heart surgery in Sioux Falls hoping to continue my journey here, but more so to yet have the adventure in what you captured here.

Kate Purdy replied:

Your eloquent comment has made my day, Richard! Best wishes for your heart surgery. I live in Minnesota and love South Dakota. That's where my heart is, too; I can't explain it the way you did, no one understands...(but you do!)
